THE STORY BEHIND MISSION MANGO

I started Mission Mango because I have a thing for communications and I love working with ethically engaged clients, helping them get attention and growth for their business.

I’m known for giving straight-forward, hands-on, simple and easy-to-put-into-action advice.

My offer stems from minimalist marketing that is resourceful and puts the great work you do in focus.

HOW I GOT INTO BEING A MINIMALIST MARKETING STRATEGIST?

I worked in a global media agency for nine years, developed compelling strategies, convincing ad campaigns and never-seen-before communication ideas for big clients like General Motors and 20th Century Fox.

I was part of the global high potential career accelerating experience Route 500, an international initiative for future leaders.

Phew! Sounds important. And it was a great program. Helped me tons to become a skilled leader with lots of potential that I couldn’t apply “back home” in my daily job.

I met amazing colleagues from around the world and after a couple of years in the program many of us decided to use our talent and our up-levelled skills outside of the agency world.

And then, what?

I wanted to do something that served a higher purpose than getting more profit for already high profit companies.

Still in my job I could identify more with creating change as in getting young people into trades when I worked on the account of the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts.

After leaving the corporate world, traveling to amazing places and seeing more of the areas that need our support and need us making changes in our daily consumption, I decided to become part of the movement of change makers.

SO, HERE I AM!

Applying my wealth of experience to help socially conscious and ethically engaged businesses and entrepreneurs so they can do more of the good work and make change happen.

Living my life in a resourceful, conscious and compassionate way and that’s also how I run my business and work with my clients.

Things not many people know about me (yet)

I have a certificate for Advanced Digital Application from the Greenwich School of Management

I can survive with my Spanish, French and Plattdeutsch – but you might want to know a few words too if you want to join me on my travels and eat anything else than avocados and croissants 😉

My friends come to me for advice on nutrition, family affairs, business and team leading.

I had severe back pain when I moved from Wiesbaden to Hamburg for my agency job in 2015 (started on the actual moving day, so not a lot of moving for me). I did physiotherapy, got addicted to yoga, went for 3 hour walks daily, worked at a standing desk and while running around, but the pain stayed and came back with full force exactly one year later. My doctor thought the pain might become chronic. And then… it magically disappeared on the day I handed in my notice to fulfill my dreams and my life’s purpose.
